1999 Summer Membership Meeting

The weather was hot and steamy, but despite that we had a good turn out on Saturday, July 24th, for our CRFCRC Summer Membership meeting, potluck, and activities. Fun was had by all! A very special thanks to Helenmary Cody for Chairing the event and organizing and running the agility activities, and to both Helenmary and Neil for graciously allowing us to use their place for the event. Also, a big thank you to Marty Archambeault as the CGC evaluator and to Linda Reynolds for hospitality.

Six dogs earned Canine Good Citizen Awards (CGC) at the event. CONGRATULATIONS to these dogs and their owners:

"Beckett" - Victory's Beck And Call NA *CGC* (Cody/Delventhal)

"Vita" - Blazin's Doppelbock WC *CGC* (Borden)

"Lin" - Blazin Dunlin Of Tidalflats WC *CGC* (Boraczek/Williams)

"Valley" - Allegro's Free Valley Sunrise *CGC* (Woodward)

"Beau" - Allegro's Free Man In Paris *CGC* (Reynolds)

"Lily" - Darktarn's Velveteen Lily *CGC* (Hupp)

Helenmary set up an agility area and all the dogs and owners had a great time doing familiarization on the agility equipment. It was great fun watching the young puppies run through the tunnels and try things out!! Later, a novice-level course was set up and some members and their dogs ran through showing fine athleticism and all those hours of hard training they’ve put in.
