 Dala is named after the bright and colorful Swedish hand-carved Dalahasten, or Dala Horse. She comes to us from our good friend Mathilda Luckner of Kennel Explicit in Lundsbrunn, Sweden. We enjoyed reading about the many adventures of Mathilda's dogs through her website and became friends in late 2006. In April 2007, Mathilda sent us a lovely, confident puppy who bounced out of her crate and stole our hearts completely! Dala is very sweet and playful, always with that twinkle in her eye, yet has a strong work ethic and a great passion for birds. We look forward to years of fun and adventures with this girl!
