Dory of Tidalflats WC CGC "Dory", owned by Jane Boraczek and Cliff Williams and handled by Jane, passed the first leg of her CD

CDX SH AX WCX HOF, "Ginnie",
and Judy Delventhal achieved their last goal for the year by finishing Ginnie's CDX.
(We can't wait to see what next year brings!)

- CH Blazin Chariots of Fire, "Caesar", won Winners Dog and Best of Winners to
finish his championship! Caesar is owned by Chris Rees, Dawn Buttion, and Marty
Archambeault, and he was handled by Marty.
- SR Lyric's Kay JH WCX
CGC TDI "Katie", owned by Al Jenkins, went
Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex for a 4 point major. Katie was handled by Floyd
Massey who went on to show her for Reserve Winners (to a major) on Sunday at the Upper
Marlboro Kennel Club.

Breed and made the cut in the Group ring. |

11/14 - 11/15/98 At the Annual
NAHRA Benefit in Thornburg, VA:
- Aspengrove Adk Mr Prsonality CD WC CGC "Bailey",
owned and loved by Janet & Cary Ciarico and handled by Janet, was the only Flat-Coat
running in the Benefit's Double Started Tests this weekend and he represented the breed
proudly by qualifying BOTH days to receive the first 5 pts (2 legs) towards his SR title.
Despite encountering challenges we'd never seen or even thought of training for, Bailey
brought back his marks with great style and vigor and made us *very* proud!! |
11/1/98 At the Langley KC Show
in Virginia Beach, VA:

Janet Ciarico, kept her cool in the 95 degree sun and took 2nd place in the 9-12
months Puppy Sweeps class.
In the Regular Match:
- Blazin Dunlin of Tidalflats "Lin", owned and handled by Jane Boraczek,
took Best of Breed at the tender age of 5 months. In addition, within the hour, this
dynamic duo got a puppy Group 4 placement!
- CH Blazin's Carpe Diem CGC "Dino", owned by Scott & Tina Borden and handled by Scott, won the Field Dog
class and then displayed the flattitude to win Best in Match |

| 9/13/98 Warrenton Kennel Club
agility trial in Rectortown, VA: CH Hy-Tymes
Virginia Reel CD SH AX WCX "Ginnie", came
out of a year 'on the bench' for an injury to finish her SH and AX her first time out
competing for both. She was handled by her owner, Judy Delventhal. This qualifies Ginnie for the FCRSA Hall of Fame where she joins
several other CRFCRC flat-coats including her dad, Stoney.
Ginnie will be retired from agility, but is looking
to finish up her CDX this year and then she and Judy will be looking for birds in her
debut next year in Master Hunter!!

| 8/22-23 At the Susque-Nango Agility trials
in Bingampton, NY: CH TwinOaks Springin inthe
Rain CDX MX OAJ WC "Rainey", qualified both days to complete her Master
Agility Excellent title and to become eligible for the FCRSA Hall of Fame. Rainey
finished the MX with 8 clean runs, 6 placements, and 10 cheeseburgers, the last being by
far the most important in her view. Her parents, Neal and Helenmary Cody are
bursting with pride!

to back Hunt Tests, it was a great day for the Delventhals' VIctory kennels! CH Hy-Tymes Virginia Reel CD *SH* OA WCX "Ginnie", owned by Mark & Judy Delventhal and
handled by Judy, did a beautiful job to finish her SH title. Ginnie has been laid up for a
year due to an injury and this was her first weekend out, she got lots of compliments on
her work from the gallery and the judges!!
CH Hy-Tymes Victory Peter Pan CD MH AX WCX "Flyer",
owned by Mark & Judy Delventhal and handled by Mark, came out for the first time in
1998 and picked up two more MH legs. That makes 9 for 9 MH tests where Flyer has picked up
every single bird in the test and qualified in 7 of those 9!
Victory's Bravo Zulu "Zu",
owned by Chris and Kate Hutchinson, picked up his first two Junior Hunter legs. Kate
handled Zu for the tests, and Chris handled Kate!
CH SR U-CD U-AGI Whisper Winds Always Harmony UDT SH OA WCX
CGC TDI HOF Can CD WCI, "Waylynn", earned
two legs toward her U-CDX title. Waylynn is owned and trained by Melody Daniels. She has
also been doing Therapy Dog visits at the local nursing home this summer. |

formally inducted into the Flat-Coat Hall of Fame at the annual awards banquet. Flyer is
just 4 1/2 years-old. Now he just needs to earn his Open obedience title so his plaque
will be correct!
CH Savvy's Cosmic Castaway CD JH MX WCX , 'Jaime', owned by

Kennel Club of Columbus, Indiana show, took
Reserve to a five point major.
3/15 - At the Louisville Kennel Club show, took Best of Winners for a four point major and
finished (pending AKC confirmation)! |

Archambeault, finished the third leg of his CD in the morning. In the afternoon,
under Dawn's handling, Cosmo won Best of Breed and made the cut in the Sporting Dog group
ring! |

1/25 - Light Foot's Eclipse CD JH FDX CGC
"Tanner", and Sandy Bulger won the Oriole
Award! The Oriole Award, given by the Oriole Dog Training Club in Baltimore, is a
HUGE trophy (30"tall) given for the first time obedience exhibitor achieving the
highest average of the three
scores required for an obedience title.
Tanner also won an Oriole "Performance Dog Excellent" award for achieving three
performance titles this past year, (CD, FDX, and JH), of which two are
activities offered by the Oriole club. Yea Sandy and Big T! |
| 1/24 - Blazin's Cosmic Thing "Junebug", owned by Dawn Buttion and Marty
Archambeault, handled by Dawn, won Best of Breed and second place in the Group ring at the
match sponsored by the Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club in Churchville, MD. |
| 1/17- Blazin's Carpe Diem "Dino", owned by Scott and Tina Borden, handled by
Scott, got Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Mohawk Valley Kennel Club Show in
Saratoga Springs, NY. The next day, 1/18, at the same location, Dino got Winners Dog
at the Glens Falls Kennel Club Show. |
